Terms & Conditions
TICKET PURCHASE TERMS & CONDITIONS
These Ticket Purchase Terms and Conditions (these “TC”) shall apply to all orders for tickets for events, shows and parties organized by Ignite Distribution, LLC, Ignite International, Ltd., and their respective affiliates (collectively, “Ignite”). These TC are subject to, and incorporate by reference, Ignite’s general Terms of Service. Any person purchasing a ticket to or attending an event organized by Ignite agrees to be bound by these TC. Each ticket that you purchase is a license to attend a particular event, and is subject to the additional terms set forth on that ticket as well as any applicable terms which the venue imposes. We do not recognize any terms and conditions that contradict or deviate from our TC unless we expressly agree to their validity in writing.
To register for the event, you must complete the event registration process and purchase a ticket. Unless the event’s registration webpage specifies otherwise or Ignite expressly informs you otherwise, all attendees must be at least 21 years of age on the day of the event.
Upon placement of your ticket order, the purchase price will be authorized to your credit card but will not be processed until you have been approved for purchase. Ticket purchases are subject to availability.
All persons proposing to purchase tickets will be subject to review by Ignite. Ignite reserves the right to deny or accept a purchase in its sole discretion, and any proposed purchasers who are denied by Ignite will be refunded in full. All official communications from Ignite will made be via email from email@example.com, and communications about event admissions or denials from any other source or email account are invalid.
Different combinations of ticket delivery options may be offered, depending on factors that include the venue or country where the event is to be held, the country in which you live, how much time is left before the event starts, whether it is a holiday season and the nature of the demand for the event. Please carefully review the list of delivery options offered during the purchase process.
Unlawful Resale of Tickets
Unlawful resale of tickets (or attempted resale) is grounds for seizure and cancellation without reimbursement or compensation. A ticket shall not be used for advertising, promotions, contests or sweepstakes unless formal written authorization is given by Ignite; provided that, even if such consent is given, any use of Ignite’s trademarks and other intellectual property is subject to Ignite’s prior written consent.
The ticket(s) sent are checked at the entrance to the event. If the bar code or the QR code and all other details on the ticket are not clearly legible, there is no entitlement to admission to the event or refund of the ticket. The first ticket holder will be admitted to the event. The ticket will then be blocked for further access. Only tickets purchased through Ignite’s official website located at www.igniteinternational.co are valid. Changing or imitating the ticket is strictly prohibited.
You and your belongings may be searched on entry to the event. You consent to such searches and waive any related claims that may arise. If you elect not to consent to such searches, you may be denied entry to the event without refund or other compensation. You may not take any items (e.g., fireworks, knives or other weapons or glass bottles) to the event whose possession or use endangers, our could endanger, the other event attendees, staff or others present. If you carry any such item, the item will be confiscated or you will be denied entry. If, for this reason, the entry is given away, there is no right to a replacement or refund of the ticket.
You commit at all times to observe all safety and implementation regulations and to follow instructions from the security and event staff. You may be refused access to the event without compensation or be excluded from the event during the event if you do not comply with the safety and implementation regulations. We preserve the right to refuse admission or evict a ticket holder, without refund of the ticket, if they are engaging in inappropriate behavior that compromises the health, safety, welfare or enjoyment of event staff or attendees.
Special rules may apply to individual events (such as dress code), which will be pointed out on the Ignite website. If the stated rules are not adhered to accordingly, entry may be refused by the event staff and you will not receive a refund of the ticket.
If an event is canceled, a replacement date for the event may be called. In such a case, the ticket is valid for the replacement date only.
With the exception of the above, you have no claims against Ignite in the event of premature termination or cancellation of the event, regardless of the reason for the termination or cancellation. That includes no claims for compensation, a replacement date for the event or an exchange or a refund claim.
Exhibition and Recording
Photographs and videos will be taken throughout the event. You agree that your appearance and actions inside and outside the event and the venue where the event occurs are public in nature, and that you have no expectation of privacy with regard to your actions or conduct at the event. You grant permission to Ignite to utilize your name, image, likeness, acts, poses, plays, appearance, movements and statements in any live or recorded audio, video or photographic display or other transaction, exhibition, publication, or reproduction made of, or at, the event (regardless of whether before, during or after the event) for any purposes, in any manner, in any medium or context now known or hereafter developed, without further authorization from, or compensation to, you or anyone acting on your behalf. In addition, such images and recordings may be shared and stored on third-party platforms.
You may take your own photos and films, provided that other guests are not impaired or disturbed. Professional photo and video recordings for commercial use are only permitted with the prior written consent of Ignite. The “posting” of the pictures and videos for private purposes on social networks such as Instagram, Facebook or YouTube is permitted, provided that, the personal rights of other guests are not violated, the material does not misrepresent the event and the published material does not harm or derogate Ignite.
Assumption of Risk and Release of Claims
You acknowledge and agree that your attendance at the event is voluntary, and you understand the nature of the event. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree that you solely assume the risks associated with attending the event. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you (for yourself, your heirs, dependents, personal representatives, assigns and anyone else who might make a claim on your behalf or as a result of your death or injury) hereby releases Ignite, its management, officers, directors, owners, employees, affiliates, contractors, representatives, agents, successors and assigns, from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, suits, damages, losses, debts, liabilities, costs and expenses (including, without limitation, reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs) that you may have now or in the future associated in any way with the event. You further acknowledge and agree that this waiver and release is specifically binding upon your heirs and assigns and is knowingly given.
Event attendees are required to keep their personal belongings with them at all times and we accept no liability for damage to, or loss of, personal belongings. We do not accept any responsibility for any loss (including, without limitation, theft) of any property occasioned at the event venue save for any damage caused by our negligence in which circumstances our liability shall be limited to the amount of insurance for such loss.
Limitations of Liability
IGNITE AND ITS AFFILIATES AND LICENSEES WILL NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU UNDER ANY CAUSE OF ACTION OR THEORY OF LIABILITY, EVEN IF YOU HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, FOR (A) INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR (B) LOST PROFITS, REVENUES, CUSTOMERS, OPPORTUNITIES OR GOODWILL. IN ANY CASE, IGNITE AND IT’S AFFILIATES’ AND LICENSEES’ AGGREGATE LIABILITY UNDER THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED USD $100. THE LIMITATIONS IN THIS SECTION APPLY ONLY TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
Privacy and Consumer Information
The failure by Ignite to enforce any provision of these TC will not constitute a present or future waiver of such provision nor limit Ignite’s right to enforce such provision at a later time. All waivers by Ignite must be in writing to be effective.
If any portion of these TC are held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining portions of these TC will remain in full force and effect. Any invalid or unenforceable portions will be interpreted to effect the intent of the original portion. If such construction is not possible, the invalid or unenforceable portion will be severed from these TC, but the rest will remain in full force and effect.
Ignite may modify these TC at any time by posting a revised version on Ignite’s website. The modified terms will become effective upon posting. By attending the event after the effective date of any modifications to these TC, you agree to be bound by the modified terms. It is your responsibility to check the Ignite website regularly for modifications to these TC.
Except as otherwise set forth herein, these TC constitute the entire agreement between you and Ignite, superseding any prior or contemporaneous agreements, proposal, discussions or communications between you and Ignite on the subject matter hereof.
These TC are governed exclusively by the laws of the State of California, without reference to conflict of law rules.
